Public Booking

  • Are visible on the HeyPros Marketplace for contractors in your area.

  • Can only use HeyPros’ default working categories (not custom ones).

  • Are always bidding-style jobs — subcontractors will submit offers for your review.

  • Typically receive offers within 24–72 hours.

  • Expand your reach to subcontractors who aren’t already in your network.

Private Booking

  • Visible only to your private subcontractor list.

  • Can use both default and custom working categories.

  • Can be posted as:

    • Allow Offers (bidding)

    • Firm Price

    • Instant Book

    • Assign Directly

  • Let you control every part of the job distribution process.

You need to fill a new or urgent job fast.

You want to test new markets or find new tradespeople.

🚀 How to Create a Public Work Order

  1. Go to Work Orders → Create Work Order.

  2. Select Public Work Order under Booking Type.

  3. Fill in your job details, including title, address, and dates.

  4. Choose a default HeyPros category (custom categories are not available for public posts).

  5. Click Publish.

  6. Your job will appear on the HeyPros Marketplace, where both public and private subcontractors can view and bid.

Note: Allow up to 24–72 hours for subcontractors in your area to review and submit offers.


Best Practices

  • Use clear, detailed descriptions to attract better bids.

  • Include walk through videos, blueprints, and photos when possible.

  • Post early in the week for faster response times.
