What Should I Expect as a New HeyPros Contractor?

Written by Cody T

Your first day with HeyPros should focus on setting up your account correctly, reviewing the available homeowner projects, and understanding how lead claims work.

Complete your profile

Confirm that your phone number, email address, trades, and service area are correct.

Your trade and location settings determine which homeowner leads appear in your account.

Review the leads available in your area

Open the Leads section and browse the available homeowner projects.

You are not required to claim every lead you see. Review the project information and choose the opportunities that fit your trade, schedule, and service area.

Understand how lead credits work

Your subscription includes a set number of lead credits.

A credit is used when you claim a homeowner lead and receive the homeowner’s contact information. Unused lead credits do not expire, but an active paid subscription is required to access and use them.

Contact claimed leads promptly

Homeowners often submit requests while actively gathering estimates.

After claiming a lead, call the homeowner and send a short text that includes your name, company, and a specific detail about the project. Continue following up when the homeowner does not answer the first attempt.

Review the Lead Dispute Policy

If you believe a claimed lead has a verifiable issue, submit a dispute from the individual lead.

Open the lead, select Report an Issue, answer the questions, and submit the dispute for review.

Submitting a dispute does not guarantee approval. Approved credits are returned according to the eligibility requirements and limits in the HeyPros Lead Dispute Policy.
