Search Alerts help contractor users stay on top of new leads and Public Work Orders in the areas and trades they want to work in. Once your alert is saved, HeyPros will use your selected location radius and categories to notify you about matching opportunities.
How to set up an alert
Step 1: Open the Explore map and go to your desired work area
Open the HeyPros app and zoom in or out on the map until you are viewing the area where you want to work.
Step 2: Open Filters
Tap the filter icon in the top-right corner of the screen to open Filters.
Step 3: Select your working categories
Under Working Category, tap All categories to choose the trades you want alerts for.
Step 4: Choose your trades
Select the trades you want alerts for, then go back once you are done.
Step 5: Tap the bell icon
Once your location and categories are set, tap the bell icon in the top-right corner.
Step 6: Save your alert
Select Save Filter & Set Alert to create your alert.
How to view and manage saved alerts
Step 7: View your saved alerts
To manage your alerts, tap View Saved Alerts.
Step 8: Confirm your alert details
Make sure your saved alert shows the correct work area radius and selected trades.
These alerts are meant to help you stay on top of new homeowner leads and Public Work Orders that match your area and trade selections.
Your saved alert should reflect both the radius you want to work in and the categories you want to receive alerts for.
If your work area or trades change, you can go back into Saved Alerts and update them.
Before saving your alert, make sure:
The map is centered on the area where you want to work
Your trade categories are selected correctly
Your saved alert shows the radius and trades you want to receive alerts for
