HeyPros Lead Guarantee

Written by Alex Johnson

Claim leads with confidence. If a claimed homeowner lead has an issue covered by the HeyPros Lead Guarantee, you can submit a lead credit refund request directly from that lead in HeyPros.

A lead credit refund returns the HeyPros lead credit used to claim the lead. It is not a cash refund or subscription refund.

What may qualify

A lead may qualify when:

  • The phone number is incorrect or disconnected

  • The homeowner says they did not request the project

  • The project type or location is incorrect

  • The lead is a duplicate

  • The submission is fake or spam

  • A HeyPros platform error affected the lead

  • The homeowner cannot be reached after multiple calls, texts, and follow-up attempts over several days

  • There is another verifiable problem with the lead information

Submitting a request does not guarantee that the lead credit will be returned.

Eligibility requirements

To submit a lead credit refund request:

  • The lead must have been claimed within the past 30 days

  • At least 48 hours must have passed since the lead was claimed

  • The lead must have been claimed while you had an active paid HeyPros subscription

  • Your paid subscription must remain active when the request is submitted and when an approved credit is returned

  • The request must be submitted from the individual claimed lead

  • Only one request may be submitted for each claimed lead

  • You must provide complete and accurate information, including any details or supporting information requested in the form

Waiting 48 hours does not automatically make an unresponsive lead eligible. No-response requests should show that reasonable contact attempts were made by phone and text, with follow-up continuing beyond the first attempt.

What the guarantee does not cover

Homeowner leads are opportunities and are not guaranteed jobs, estimates, or appointments.

A lead generally will not qualify solely because:

  • The project did not result in paid work

  • The homeowner’s plans or project scope changed

  • There was a disagreement involving price, timing, or availability

  • The project was smaller than expected

  • The contractor did not contact the homeowner promptly or make reasonable follow-up attempts

How requests are reviewed

HeyPros reviews each request using the information submitted, the lead record, account activity, and any other relevant information available to us.

A request may be denied when:

  • It does not meet the eligibility requirements

  • The selected reason is not supported by the information provided

  • Required information is missing, inaccurate, or misleading

  • The request concerns a normal lead-generation outcome rather than a problem with the lead

  • The account shows excessive, repetitive, misleading, or abusive use of lead credit refund requests

  • HeyPros determines that returning the lead credit is not warranted for another reason

HeyPros reserves the right to approve or deny lead credit refund requests in its discretion, including for reasons not specifically listed in this article. We may also limit, suspend, or revoke access to the Lead Guarantee when we believe the program is being misused.

Approval of a previous request does not guarantee that another request will be approved.

How to request your credit back

  1. Open the claimed lead in HeyPros.

  2. Select Report an Issue.

  3. Choose the reason that best describes the problem.

  4. Answer the follow-up questions and provide any requested information.

  5. Review your answers and submit the request.

If your request is approved, the lead credit used to claim that lead will be returned to your active HeyPros account.

See How to Submit a Lead Credit Refund Request for complete instructions.

Important notes

Returned lead credits can be used to claim other available leads in HeyPros. They cannot be exchanged for cash or applied as a refund toward subscription payments.

The HeyPros Lead Guarantee and its requirements may be updated from time to time.
