How to Submit a Lead Credit Refund Request

Written by Cody T

If a claimed homeowner lead has an issue covered by the HeyPros Lead Guarantee, submit your request directly from that lead in the HeyPros app. This connects the request to the correct lead and eliminates the need to send the lead information to support separately.

Before you submit a request

  • You must have an active paid HeyPros subscription to submit a request and receive a returned lead credit.

  • The request must be submitted from the individual lead you claimed.

  • A returned lead credit is added to your HeyPros account. It is not a cash refund.

  • Only one lead credit refund request can be submitted for the same claimed lead.

Review the HeyPros Lead Guarantee to see what may qualify before submitting your request.

How to submit your request

  1. Open HeyPros and select the claimed lead you want to report.

  2. Select Report an Issue.

  3. Choose the reason that best describes the issue.

  4. Answer the follow-up questions and add any requested details. The questions will change based on the reason you selected.

  5. Review your answers and submit the request.

What happens after you submit

You will see a confirmation after the request is submitted. If the request is approved, the lead credit used to claim that lead will be returned to your HeyPros account and can be used to claim another lead.

Some requests may require review before a decision is made. You do not need to email the same request to support after submitting it in HeyPros.

If your subscription is not active

The HeyPros Lead Guarantee is available to active paid subscribers. If your subscription is inactive, selecting Report an Issue will direct you to the start a susbcription screen. You must have an active paid subscription before you can submit the request or receive a returned lead credit.

Important reminder

Homeowner leads are opportunities, not guaranteed jobs or appointments. A homeowner choosing another contractor, changing their plans, disagreeing on price, or deciding not to hire does not by itself make the lead eligible for a credit refund.

For the complete policy, review the HeyPros Lead Guarantee.
