Private Contractors
Private Contractors are the subcontractors your company adds under My Contractors.
What to know
They are visible only to your company and are not shared with other companies on HeyPros.
You can send Private Work Orders directly to an individual contractor or your private network.
Private Work Orders can use the custom categories created for your business.
Your company controls pricing, the posting type, and who receives the work.
Use Private Contractors when you already have subcontractors you trust or want to coordinate work within your existing network.
Public Contractors
Public Contractors use Looking for Work accounts to browse available Public Work Orders and submit offers through HeyPros.
When you create a Public Work Order, it can be viewed by Public Contractors in the relevant trade and location. Your Private Contractors can also review it when applicable.
Use a Public Work Order when you want to receive offers from contractors outside your existing subcontractor list.
