Some HeyPros customers have opted to add an integration with Stripe Connect, enabling them to pay their subcontractors electronically through HeyPros. Not all companies are using Stripe, please check with your project manager if you are unsure if you will be paid via Stripe or via conventional means.

The HeyPros team does not handle any payments, for any questions about when or how you will be paid, please contact the company who has hired you for the job.

Step 1.

If the company that is contracting you for jobs has enabled a Stripe connection, you will see the following message when you try to view your profile in the HeyPros app, or in your mobile browser:

If you do not see this message, the company you're working for has chosen not to do payouts via Stripe. If this is the case, you will need to coordinate with the project manager to determine how you will be paid.

Step 2.

If you do see the Stripe account message in your HeyPros profile, scroll down until you see "Setup Stripe Connect". Tap on this.

Step 3.

A new window will open to begin setting up your Stripe Connect account. Enter your email address and tap "Continue".

Step 4.

Enter your phone number and tap "Continue".

Step 5.

Stripe will text a verification code to the phone number you provided in the previous step. Enter this verification now.

Step 6.

You will be prompted to enter your personal details such as date of birth and social security number. Once you have filled out the required fields, tap "Continue".

Step 7.

You will be prompted to enter your business details. Website is an optional field. Once you have filled out the required fields, tap "Continue".

Step 8.

Choose whether you'd like to be paid to bank account or debit card. If you choose bank, you'll be prompted to pick from a list of banks, or enter your own. If you choose debit card, you'll be prompted to enter you card info. Once you've done so, click continue.

Step 9.

If you have chosen to enter card information, you'll be finished with set-up when you receive notification from Strip that your account has been successfully made. If you've chosen to be paid to a bank account, you'll need to continue to enter your bank account information such as a routing number. You'll be finished with set-up when you receive notification from Strip that your account has been successfully made.
